U2 prepara documentário com show 3-D para o ano que vem

Segundo o New Musical Express, a banda de Bono lança, em 2007, um documentário sobre a Vertigo Tour. A grande novidade no relato da última turnê dos irlandeses será um show em 3-D, algo inédito se tratando de concertos musicais.

Dirigido por Mark Pellington, que já trabalhou com a banda no clipe de “One”, o filme trará o que de melhor aconteceu durante a passagem do U2 pela América do Sul em 2006.

Os shows de Buenos Aires, realizados em março deste ano, foram registrados com câmeras de “Alta-definição 3-D”.

O U2 está conversando sobre a distribuição do longa com diversos estúdios de filme.

A primeira experiência de Bono, Adam, Edge e Larry nos cinemas não foi nada agradável. O documentário “Rattle And Hum” (1989), um relato sobre a passagem da turnê do disco “The Joshua Tree” pelos EUA, recebeu duras criticas e não teve bom público.
